Happy Faces Foundation

This is the story of
how it all began

Our founder, Reeta Bhagat had been working on various initiatives related to education, women welfare, with her background in advocacy. One day, a sad incident involving her domestic help moved her deeply and she took the onus of doing something for not just her domestic help but for all such women who were resourceful and capable, but often unaware or diffident about their own abilities – and the idea for Happy Faces Foundation was thus rooted.

Over the course of four years, she ventured into many areas of welfare and policies, and eventually created the Happy Faces Foundation, a platform that gives opportunities to women from regressive and poor economic backgrounds to become empowered and economically independent.

Happy faces Foundation aims to empower women to carve their identity and build confidence to have social and economic agency of their lives.

Our mission is to initiate and create sustainable employment opportunities for women of diverse socio-economic strata.
