Shipping, Returns and Cancellation

Thank you for choosing a handmade product and helping us deliver a unique craft to your  doorstep.
Please note by purchasing from 108knots.com, you as the buyer agree/are compliant to our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Shipping, Returns and Refunds Policy.


SHIPPING

  • We currently ship all across India and have partnered with Shree Maruti Courier Services
  • Orders are shipped within 2-4 working days and depending on the final destination and accessibility of the location, the shipment is expected to reach the you ("buyer") within 5-10 working days.
  • For products that are intensive and require more time, or require a customization we take about 7-10 days to make it. We directly work with artisans and each handmade product is made from start to finish at our workshop.
  • Delivery of products will duly be done to the address mentioned by you at the time of placing the order. Please ensure clear and correct information for the same.
  • We offer free shipping on all domestic orders. A nominal charge of INR 100 will be levied for Cash on Delivery (COD) orders.
  • All shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • We generally avoid non-recyclable plastic materials. But incase of weather conditions, we might have to use plastic - a necessary evil. Our cloth bags are meant to keep your products dust free when you store them inside a cabinet. Our cardboard boxes are recyclable and we hope they can be up-cycled in interesting DIYS. You would be happy to know that we don’t use any stickers or plastic ties on our tags unless absolutely required.
  • We take due care and reasonable efforts to deliver the products in a timely manner. However, we do not take any responsibility for late delivery or loss caused to you for non-delivery or delay in delivery.
  • We cannot be held liable for any damage, cost or expense incurred to such Products/Goods or premises where this arises as a result of a failure on your part to provide adequate access/address or any other instructions or arrangements for delivery of the products/goods.
  • In case of failure of accepting the goods and products, we may raise discretion and charge you additional shipping cost.
  • In case of international shipment any additional taxes or the custom duty of that country will be borne by the buyer.
SHIPMENT PROCESSING TIME
  • On placing an order, you will receive an email containing summary and estimated time for delivery.
  • Incase you want the product to reach by a particular date please feel free to contact our team
  • You can modify your shipping address as long as it's not left from our workshop. Please contact our team for changes to the shipping address.
  • You will receive an e-mail and SMS once your order has been shipped and left our workshop premises. The e-mail will include details of the shipping agent and tracking number. 
  • You can track your shipment through the shipping provider’s website here
  • Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends, public holidays or incase of curfew/lockdown/unexpected obstacles.
  • Incase of any delays, we will contact you via email or telephone. Please check your emails and SMS regularly for such updates.

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
  • We assure that all products sold by us are new and 100% genuine, defect free and packed under the norms of standardised packaging. 
  • We conduct a thorough inspection before dispatch.
  • In any case you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us on hello@108knots.com within 48 hours of your receiving the order.
  • You must take into account the description of the item before requesting a refund. If the item matches the description on this website and the buyer is unsatisfied, we are not responsible/obliged for refund or replacement.
  • Colour variation as seen on screen and actual product may vary slightly.
  • In case you receive any product, which is not in good condition or, is damaged during shipping, the you may exchange the product unused, and in the same condition as he / she purchased it, in its original packaging along with original tags.
  • It is your responsibility to inform us of any such damage or defects in the product purchased and received by you within 48-hours of delivery, failing which the product(s) will not qualify for returns and same is applicable even in case the product has been wrongly delivered.
  • The shipping agent delivering your order cannot process an exchange or accept returns.
  • All returns need to be routed through customer care only. You can call or mail us for a return request.
  • We do not have a pick up service for a product that has to be returned. The cost of shipment of the returned product must be borne by the buyer.
  • We request your cooperation and a clear, respectful conversation to discuss the reason of exchange/refund.
  • After receiving the returned product, we will inspect the reason you returned and then only will proceed for possible resolution could be Replacement, Exchange or Refund.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. If return is worthy then we will not charge you for second shipping.
  • Made-to-order/custom products cannot be replaced or returned. Products bought on sale cannot be replaced or returned.
 CANCELLATION
  • Due to unavoidable circumstances there may be times when certain orders having been validly placed may not be processed or capable of being dispatched. We reserve the exclusive right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason.
  • Any cancellation of order must be notified immediately within 48 hours of placing the order by quoting your order number on an email requesting cancellation sent to hello@108knots.com. If we accept your cancellation, no cancellation fee shall apply. However, if a delivery is already engaged in transportation, the Order may not be cancelled and the Company will not be able to refund you the amount received for the order.
  • Situations include any war, civil commotion, strike, governmental action, lockdown, accident, epidemic, natural calamities, or any other event of any nature or kind which are beyond the control during such cases our performance will not be granted and free from complaint.
